Heifer Philippines signs LOA with 13 new
NGO partners


Heifer Philippines signed letters of agreement (LOA) with 13 new NGO partners from North Luzon, Southeast Luzon, Mindanao, and Visayas. The LOA signing took place on January 25, 2008   at the Country Program Office and was attended by representatives of the NGO partners and HPI team members.

HPI's new NGO partners are:

North Luzon:

  • Social Action and Development Commission of Ifugao (SADC);
  • Episcopal Diocese of Northern Luzon (EDNL) ;
  • Episcopal Diocese of Santiago (EDS)
  • Community One Resources Development, Inc
  • Cordillera Parents Federation, Inc

Southeast Luzon:

  • Bicol Upland Resources Development Foundation, Inc (BURDFI)
  • Socio Pastoral Action Center Foundation, Inc (SPACFI)
  • Mayon Integrated Development Alternatives and Services (MIDAS), Inc.

Mindanao:

  • Surigao Economic Development Foundation, Inc (SEDF)
  • Holistic Community Development and Initiatives, Inc (HCDI)
  • Propegemus Foundation, Inc

Visayas:

  • Tuburan for Rural Women Empowerment
    and Development, Inc
  • St. Ma. Goretti Development Education Foundation, Inc

SADC is Heifer Philippines' partner for the project CARE-LIFE; EDNL for Revitalizing Babalag Unity for Integrated Livelihood and Development; EDS for Empowered Abra for Sustainable Economy ; CORD for Sustainable Environment for Better Living of Families thru Holistic and Encompassing Livelihood Programs; CPFI for Happier FAMILY; BURDFI for Values Sharing through Agri-livestock for Families' Sustainable Livelihood; SPACFI for Family-based Integrated Community Development; MIDAS for Comprehensive Assistance on Rehabilitation and Enterprise Development in Camalig; SEDF for Sustainable Holistic and Integrated Project for Family Transformation in Mayag; HCDI for Transforming Lives for Holistic Community Development; Propegemus Foundation for Together Responding for Environmental and Economic Sustainability; Tuburan for Women in Partnership Endeavor on Ultimate Transformation of Families to Eliminate Poverty; and St. Goretti for Strengthening of Families towards Values-based Holistic Development.
